Average Billing

The Coleman County Electric Cooperative Average Payment Plan is available to qualifying residential members of the cooperative who desires to pay an average amount each month.

Your average monthly payment will be determined monthly by averaging the most recent 12 months of billing history, including the current month's billing. Because this is a moving average, your monthly bill will normally fluctuate slightly depending on your history and current usage.

To qualify, the following conditions must be met:

  • Residential consumer only
  • 12 months of history at this location
  • Current account balance equal to zero
  • Not more than two delinquents in 12 months
  • No cut-off notices in the last 12 months

Terms of this billing plan require all payments made on time. If payments are not received by the due date, the plan will be subject to termination. If the plan is terminated, all balances are due and payable at time of termination.

CCEC's Bank Draft Plan is strongly encouraged in conjunction with this average billing plan.

Complete billing information will be mailed monthly including current bill account balance and amount due.

Free Bank Draft Service Available

For your convenience, Coleman County Electric Cooperative can draw a draft on your bank account each month for your electric bill. If you want this service, contact our office. Two authorization cards will be provided for you, one to fill out and return to us, and one for your bank

After we receive this card, we will begin the draft with the next bill. Each month you will receive the bill as usual, but will show "Bank Drafted" on the bill.

Please call the cooperative office if you would like this convenient service.

A Matter of Life and Death

Your cooperative needs to know if you are on a life-support system. If you have not already contacted our office to let us know you are on a life-support system of any type, please give us a call at (325) 625-2128, 1-800-560-2128 or email
Does someone in your household rely on electronically operated life-support equipment? If so, you should notify Coleman County Electric Cooperative.

Coleman County Electric Cooperative keeps a registry of members who use life-support equipment, and we need your help to keep our list up-to-date.

If we are planning a power outage for maintenance or line construction, we will call the people on our registry and provide them with advance warning of the outage and an estimate of how long the power will be out.

When a storm hits and the power goes out unexpectedly, our line crews will give priority to homes on our medical life-support list.

Call Coleman County Electric Cooperative today to register your home on our medical life-support list. It could mean the difference between life and death.
